    This morning was a tad early even the sun had not come up when where waiting at the port for our ferry across if you can call it a ferry a lot larger than our perth ferry, eight floors to be exact and drive on drive of down the bottom for trucks not just cars ..     Ready for breakfast so we headed off, the first on the list was not open yet so headed to the hotel close by that had 6€ breakfast buffet. Couldn't see a buffet so asked if we cold get something.     ... this beggars belief, the island used to grow enough wheat to necessitate a dozen windmills, which still line the ridge above town. How and where they possibly managed to grow even a handful of wheat on the steep rocky slopes, I have no idea. I stayed in the old town at the top of the hill above the harbour, which is an incredible maze of interlinking stairways and alleys, and completely pedestrian, giving it a very otherworldly feel.     Everyday we would meet with Nanny and Poppy at a cafe near our hotel. Everyone would have coffee and Tom and I played soccer and played on the equipment. We even had a boat ride on a small pond. It was fun.
