Shopping in Milan in am in Galleria. Vittorio Emmanuelle II shopping mall. Only thing we could afford was souvenirs. Hannah and allie did go in the Louis Vitton store. Duomo. 3rd oldest church. ... for dinner along with our dormitory style beds. This likely proved to be the best choice of the day as we were treated to a three course meal of salad, cheesy pasta, and a mousse-like dessert that tasted devine after working up an appetite. And, to wash it down, Aaron and I both enjoyed a 5 deci-liter (think large beer stein for those unfamiliar with the metric system) Cardinal beer - Supberb! Now, it is into our bunks to rest up for a long day of hiking tomorrow.

... it so we backtracked to Muhlbach. We grudgingly settled into what a sign said was a 4% slope for the next 6km as we were to climb to Asserbinn (or was it a 6% for 4km? I have forgotten! Maybe we should just say 5% for 5km!). The route then took us back down to river level on gravel tracks through pine forests which was pretty cool.
