Spontaneous Detour
... asleep to the methodically flowing river Danube. But, before I fell asleep, I had to eat dinner. And, boy did I eat dinner. There is a restaurant on the top floor of the Botel, so instead of wandering into the city, I decided to just take it easy and stay put. So, I grabbed a table with a nice view of the river, and ordered. Here's what I ordered: duck leg confit with braised red cabbage in red wine, homemade bread dumplings, with bacon and ramson. This morning we cruised down another section of the Danube. I spent most of the time working on my Blog, but I did get on deck to photograph the ruins of one of the largest castle on the Danube. Unfortunately I don't remember any of the details about it and Google hasn’t helped either.

Four hours in Bratislava
... side of Old Town, and on the way we saw a UFO on top of a bridge, then a graffiti wall with fishes! And later, I saw a man playing a hurdy-gurdy! :) I also bought a chicken necklace at the market. :D
The remainder of the time was spent simply wandering until we had to head back to the bus station. At the bus station we collected our bags, found our bus, and made our way to Budapest! I had a lovely time in Bratislava, even if it was a short time! ...

... being cooped up for so many days was fantastic. We signed up for the extended walking tour 'cause we were so full of energy and it ended up being the best tour guide of the trip.
