    So to Rome. Perhaps we should have allocated more than just one day to cover the entire city, however Bea has seen it all before so this is a quick jaunt entirely for my sake. I managed to persuade Bea to crawl out of bed to get the 7:42 train into Rome and maximise our limited time in the capital. It was on our arrival at the station that it all started to go wrong.     ... It's a four hour trip that is the highest rail crossing in the alps. We'll let the photos - and one video - speak for themselves. There are 196 bridges, 55 tunnels and reaches a maximum altitude of 7391 feet.
