Kind of sad checking out of our little hotel in Venice. It points to our imminent departure of Venice. It has been a great stay. We are scheduled for a gondola ride tonight, but it looks like rain. Sherrie has arrived from Denver and is meeting us at the ship. ... island being Torcello. This island is more of a farming island and has the historic Basilica di Torcello. After a short look around we got back on to the boat and head back to the Venice. On arrival, we hired a Gondola ride around the canals before doing some shopping and having dinner. Tomorrow we pack up and head off to the city of Milan.
