... The main square had music playing I'm thinking it was something like request your favorite song as there was a table, a "DJ" albeit a 60 something year old, and some music system. There were tourists standing by quietly dancing but not wanting to draw attention to themselves. I was wishing that they would break loose just as I know my mum and dad would have. We were at the first stop so the boat was empty when we got on and we got seats right up the front outside. Perfect vantage point for a few dozen photos!! We found our way back with ...

Yes, we took Piper to Venice. We took a bird dog who loves to swim to a city full of water and pigeons. Maybe we're the ones that are "pazza." We took the train in and just wandered around for several hours. We played ball in a back alley with Mike at one end and me at the other. She calmed down a little bit after ...

... actually. No one is willing to help anyone. We found a pay phone but of course it was broken. Boo. As we got back to the building some other guests were entering and they kindly let us in!! Inside we find our key and room so we checked ourselves in and connected to the wifi to email the owner. We only had one day in Florence so we told them what we had done and headed out for the afternoon. Florence is a beautiful city. Very different to Rome. Large wide streets ...
