We found a great little confectionery store, and I use that term because It wasn't just chocolates, but had every flavour of turones, licorice and lollies, though they could do with an Allen's selection, and "new" flavours of Lindore like coconut, lime, strawberries and cream, caramel, cookies and cream and and and ...Tomorrow will be a big day; our last and much on the list we hope to see. ... island being Torcello. This island is more of a farming island and has the historic Basilica di Torcello. After a short look around we got back on to the boat and head back to the Venice. On arrival, we hired a Gondola ride around the canals before doing some shopping and having dinner. Tomorrow we pack up and head off to the city of Milan.

... a free for all for the boats once out of the canals but they've usedwooden spikes to create water roads, although the boats use their horn as much as cars. Murano is really nice, we're directed into a glassblowing workshop immediately giving a free demonstration followed by a look in a hugely overpriced shop. Was amazing to watch the hot glass being formed into something a lot like a conical flask from the bio labs at uni. Walked around the island ...
