    ... fantastic. It was great.

Off to dinner and we discovered that we bit off more than we could chew. The feast of grilled chicken and pork, with spakil and salad was huge. We couldn't get through it. Apparently a traditional Slovak meal. Paid the bill and off home. The ice cream shops were beckoning and we just had to try Slovak ice. It is certainly different and naturally very, very nice.

Home, early bedtime at the end of a big day.

This let us try something we had not been able to do in a while, relax and just take it in. So, for the remaining time in Bratislava we just walked around without the added pace to see everything and lived like the locals lived, that is, if they did not work and ate in great restaurants all the time. It was a nice end to a country that had a lot of ups and downs. ...

... and stalls not seen any where else so far. Another round of punsches completed our early evening of fun. Heading back into town we came upon Flanagan's Irish Pub and this saw us through dinner and a couple of drinks each. It was a lively bar that we could have stayed all night in however the sky bar in our own hotel really needed to be seen so we spent the end of the evening there staring across the roof top at the multicoloured tiled roof of ...
