One of our favourite places so far on the trip (it's getting hard to rank where we have been but Switzerland is very high up there! Everywhere you looked could have been a picture for a calendar and our iPhones don't do the photos too much justice! We did have a slight detour on the way here as the bus AC broke down and we had to stop in a random little town to get it fixed which added about 2.5 hours ...
We stayed in the cutest little town of Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. It was exactly how I imagined it, ridiculously green grassy hills, big forests, towering cliffs and gorgeous waterfalls. We stayed in a valley surrounded by this beauty. We went off on our own adventures today. A group of us went to explore the waterfalls first thing in the morning. The walk was so picturesque. Best bit of the day. For JJ he liked all the skiing, Sam liked the hut and I enjoyed cutting fresh tracks in the morning.
A great days skiing covering many miles. In fact JJ and I have covered 207km this holiday and a vertical distance of 33.4 km.
The video shows my run, then Sam then ...
