      ... Cathedrals is often the life work of a few generations within families.No doubt the construction of such would have been pivotal for much community, religious and political power struggles.

      ... say it was spectacular. We were right on the water and had a great view of the "bridge of locks" and the most gorgeous cathedral in Cologne. We watched many riverboats and cargo barges float up and down the river along with a team of kayakers and a few paddle-boarders. Our room was on the fifth floor and had a few nice touches.
