Brought brekky this morning at the Cologne railway station because we discovered they have lovely yogurt and muesli. Then we went shopping. I bought a pair of German shoes, made in Hamburg, for $52! Rosanne bought a very comfortable pair of new season shoes for a little more. While we were in the hotel lounge this morning we overheard a group of Brits on a coach tour being corralled into where they needed to go by their super efficient tour guide and made a ...

We discovered one stained glass ...

Even better, parking was also extra but as GG was too tall for their underground car park, we had to park with the smart cars in front of the Hotel at no charge. Hilarious!

Apparently it gets closed to tourists when there is som e type of function happening. Long walk back to meet the ship as it had not yet arrived and we got the spot wrong. Quick lunch in the cafe and then grabbed a quick nap before the early briefing for tomorrow, where Rudy advised he needed to depart the ...

... about a series of subjects―his family (wife had passed away last year), professions, my time in Germany, his relatives in the U.S. (Toledo and Philadelphia) and a bit of politics (U.S. and German). Afterwards I retrieved my luggage and took it to the lobby and paid my bill. I made the five
