Another lovely day, so we decided to stay put. Did even more washing! While I caught up with the blog, Rob went for a walk and saw a red breasted Merganser, but didn't have the camera.
A really relaxing day - much needed, as we still have hacking coughs and are not sleeping very ...

... This one is FREE!! We had decided we needed some R+R so we headed for an ACSI 16e (very cheap for Denmark) campsite at Tarup, about 10kms from Nyborg.
Once we turned off the main road it seemed to take an age to get to the site, passing through ...

He spent half his time looking in the rear view mirror on the autobahn so he could quickly move to the right to make room for the BMW or the Audi screaming up behind us at alarming speed. Without a map reader/navigator, (Cindy) we would still be wandering some back road in country we did not expect to visit.

Day 2 and 110km to cover today crossing from west coast of Zealand across The Great Belt (Danish: Storebælt) which is a strait between the main Danish islands of Zealand ( Sjælland) and Funen (Fyn). Legs and bums not too sore after a good rest. At 0900 it started pretty wet for the first section Slagelse to Korsor but rain stopped as we arrived in Korsor to catch a train through the 8km tunnel link to Fyn.
