Steve reporting: Got to Versailles later than we wanted but very worth the trip. The opulence of Versailles is overwhelming as are the crowds! Wow to both! Glad we went and now off our bucket list. ... It was exactly as we remembered it, although we were disappointed to discover that a little creperie by one of the local beaches had closed down. So, for lunch, we sampled our other favourite creperie, and enjoyed a lovely, simple meal outside. We then went for a walk in the (rather hot) sun, along the river and out into the beautiful bay opposite Locquirec.

Left the village of Beauvoir and drove along the coast towards Cancale. On the way we drove through little villages on the sea front. there are lovely beaches and quite a few tourists.
