As soon as the lights turned green we shot out of there - and although Louise was ****** at the intrusion she seemed to appreciate the fact that they had actually cleaned most of the front window!

Unfortunately there was so much dust in the air from the winds around that Neil and I were coughing and had grit in our eyes, which wasn't very pleasant. We walked through the castle to the Parco Sempione hoping to find a café open which we could sit inside but unfortunately they only had kiosks ...

... Castle. They specialize in Ligurian cuisine and I was looking forward to having a good Pesto meal for a change. Their Facebook page indicated that they opened at 18:45 but that time passed and the restaurant was still dark. I waited until after 19:00 before starting to search for another restaurant.

By this time I was really starting to get hungry, so was willing to put up with one of the overpriced tourist traps along Via ...
