PS These shots of the Domo Baptistry are amazing not only because of the beautiful pink marble, but that the baptismal font is made of ONE PIECE of the stuff - about as big as a family car and 20 times as heavy. Enjoy!

Again, mostly a travel day today. About 500 kms covered today, through beautiful countryside (once we left Lyon behind - not impressed), into steeper country, including a nearly 12 kms long tunnel that cut right through the mountains - Mont Blanc.
