... Paul was right - a beautiful place with lots of ancient charm, and even better no traffic in the centre. More ice creams, more cathedrals and piazzas and a very gentle feel to the place.

We were complaining a week or so about the cold,now,I have just seen the weather on TV and where we are here, is in the early 30s,with Florence and Rome reaching high 30s to 40 over the next week or so.
Have just come back from the beach 8 Euros lighter (umbrella and sun bed in the fourth row).
