... my mum worked for 6 months when she was a little older than me. We went back to their house for a beautiful cooked lunch followed by dessert of cherries and cream! Afterwards Dario and Claudia took us up to our family house in the mountains- the equivalent of a Bach in NZ 'Cansume'. It was just as I remembered it- so beautiful. We walked around for a while and the view is just incredible! Ilaria picked us up in the afternoon and we went ...

... base of the Viamala Gorge. There's an entrance fee--so normally I would skip it saying "hey, I already saw what there is to see!" But this is a once in a lifetime experience. This gorge deserves a little more effort to be explored fully. Otherwise I might regret it afterwards, and it'll be forever too late. So I cough up the 8 Francs and head down the stairs. From the bottom it is still limited as to what you can see, as there's a twist in the gorge up ...

... s so far!!! how is that even possible?" Here, the fellow just looks down and my feet and says: "Those are the wrong kind of shoes for walking to Liechtenstein" Yep. Nothing unusual about doing a 3 day hike here in Switzerland. But to do it with cheapy Chinese shoes? Now that's weird. I gaze across the river. There on a boulder are piles of rocks, precariously balanced stacked up to 15 rocks high. Even when they're just killing time, the Swiss do this with precision and ...
