... beginning of the class we took a little note and it was actually pretty interesting. Their new topic is Social Mobility. We then began to watch a movie that starred Jennifer Lawrence called "Winter's Bone." What I saw of it was pretty good. Once the class finished at 11:35am we went to the basement where Mia and her friends normally eat lunch. I just had a snack because Mia and I were planning on going out for lunch. ... all round. The fact that an upper class English teenager was on the front door was a tad odd. Afterwards, we stayed and watched an old friend's team play and then went out for ...

Similar to electric scooters in Xinjiang China, I found the streets to be much quieter with fewer cars on the road. The tv show explained fewer people own cars and people are experiencing increased health benefits from daily biking. The air is cleaner and I found the city is much quieter and tranquil. Bikes are much ...

... I desperately wish we had at home! It’s such a Seattle thing, I’m sure it’s only a matter of time (right??) Fresh produce outside, specialty shops (spices, wine, cheese, chocolate) and take-out restaurants inside. All very open air, market-stall style, but with more permanent walls, kitchens, etc. Clean and classy and everything you could want to choose from… plus the ability to drink ...
