    ... that Nice was a busy city and the beaches were quite rocky, whereas we had heard that Juan Les Pins was quieter, with a bit less to do. Given that it was at the end of the vacation and we knew we'd be tired, we opted for the quieter spot.     Lake St-Cassien

    We made our way inland to the lake where we walked along a rocky shore and found a cove for the dogs to swim, afterwards we walked back to a bar where we enjoyed a coffee and then a beer enjoying the view over the lake.
    we came back a different route and found some lovely mountain villages that we will come back to another day to explore.

    ... olives ..goats cheese dried meats and as we are in provence there were some stall selling herbs and lavender. But it was lovely to walk through the old streets and stopping for a nice cafe au lait (white coffee !!)
    We stopped at the local bakery and bought some quiche lorraine for lunch and made our way back to camp to collapse in the chairs for the rest of the day. ...
