Flight across Asia & Russia
It was a long day of travelling to get to Paris. We got on the plane in the afternoon (2pm) but we had to set our watches back to 6 am Paris time and then had to fly all day. We saw some spectacular views from the little window at the back of the plane where we would walk to for some stretching and a break from sitting. We think we saw the Himalayas - well at least a spectacular ...
A day in Korea
... a "home base" for us. I'm excited to meet my buddies as well! The people that I have interacted with here are welcoming and friendly. Everything has been interesting and fun so far (except for freezing in Korea and spending 19 hours on a plane). I am ready to learn so much more about this culture and these people. I pray that you all are doing well and are staying warm! We have the air conditioning on over here :)

The adventure has begun!!
... San Francisco from the
little parts I saw of it, the city has a really great vibe to it!
So that brings me to today. Although a
little bitter about paying for a hotel, I loved the room & slept
really well. Maybe it worked out for the best to have a good night
sleep between all the flights, and hey who doesn't sleep well at the
Hilton. :) I got an email from the recruiting company this morning &
apparently the man who is picking ...
And we're here!!!
... be served actual food (with wine, no less), the duty free shopping (it was like Korean Air had it's own Home Shopping Network) and the real time map of the plane's flight (my favorite). As neat as all these things were, 14+ hours is still extremely long and I was very happy when we finally landed. The Korean guy sitting next to me who knocked back at least 4 glasses of whiskey and 2 beers during the trip may have been onto something.
