... Halles and the Vieux Ville. We took the funicular up the side of the mountain by the infamous Chateau/Collegial and made our way back to the train station. ... arrived at Lauterbrunnen, a small village at the base of the Alps, and boarded a cable car to take us to the next section up the mountain. From there, instead of taking the train, we walked 40 minutes to the small village of Mürren where we stopped for lunch and a look around. He had unfortunately been having serious problems with his back which has put him off work for the time being and as a result was able to 'hobble' us around parts of the city. Firstly, we went to an amazing coffee place overlooking Bern. Now if you haven’t been to Bern, go there! The city is truly gorgeous and personally I think it is much more appealing than Geneva.

Its the start of day three and i can safely say that my sister can now out party me. Either that, or the mix between the jet-lag and elevation change is giving me the worst hangover I’ve experienced to date.
