... Halles and the Vieux Ville. We took the funicular up the side of the mountain by the infamous Chateau/Collegial and made our way back to the train station. What better reward than a chocolate McFlurry?! I could not believe that the Neuchatel Gare now has a McDonald's! C'est dommage! It was hard to share my emotions and all the memories that flooded back but the good energy remained thanks to how patient, positive, and curious everybody was to see ...

... arrived at Lauterbrunnen, a small village at the base of the Alps, and boarded a cable car to take us to the next section up the mountain. From there, instead of taking the train, we walked 40 minutes to the small village of Mürren where we stopped for lunch and a look around. Its all in good fun though, as last night was definitely a great time. It all began at a little Chinese place called Houky, where we ordered some delicious Chinese for dirt cheap, and proceeded to do Jagerbombs at the table. Once we finished the ...

... me 4 francs so I consider I got a decent deal? Wouldn't say it beats eating out though.

Th second day I started with another lasagna for breakfast/lunch and got some yoghurt and apples as well. All together it cost just over 5 francs. So tip, if you go Switzerland, supermarkets are your friend! I met an american girl at the hostel and followed her to the alpine museum. I'm a little bit interested in geology, but this wasn't ...
