... Halles and the Vieux Ville. We took the funicular up the side of the mountain by the infamous Chateau/Collegial and made our way back to the train station. ... arrived at Lauterbrunnen, a small village at the base of the Alps, and boarded a cable car to take us to the next section up the mountain. From there, instead of taking the train, we walked 40 minutes to the small village of Mürren where we stopped for lunch and a look around. As the night went on we shared stories of our own families and Christmas traditions. Soon we neared the end of the fondue bowl and our bellies were full and our heads grew sleepy. I said my goodbyes and departed with Corinne. The rest of the bunch, who are all in the same psychology program, went back to their homes for a few hours of studying before an exam they had the next morning.

Its the start of day three and i can safely say that my sister can now out party me. Either that, or the mix between the jet-lag and elevation change is giving me the worst hangover I’ve experienced to date.
