      ... armed services and have had an impeccable service record. They get a wage and get to live with their families inside the tower gates which can’t be accessed by the residents after 11pm. After finishing the tour we went on a self-guided tour with ice cream around the Crown jewels, outer walls and the White tower which was where the Kings and Queen lived, now it shows all the armour that was used. Time to feed the family again which was completed at the Tower café ...

      ... is now becoming a far more efficient process. Maddi was due to
      arrive back at school between 4 and 5pm so off Tony went to pick Maddi up at
      4pm, what time did she arrive 5pm. Toni kept on checking in to see if she had
      arrived and as she states it Tony spent his time “Stuffing around” and yes she
      was right he was reading the Stuff website to fill in time. Home for Dinner,
      kids to bed excited for tomorrow with even a rumour that the Easter Bunny may

      Day 6 A Van Gogh Day March 30, 2015 Tarascon &Arles


      Arles is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has many preserved Roman ruins. The Venus d'Arles is now at the Louvre. Here one can see part of the ancient aqueduct and the amphitheater.
      They gave us another alternative tour which we took. It was a Van Gogh themed tour. I felt I had seen enough Roman ruins (although they were pointed out anyway) and wanted to focus on Van Gogh. ...

      ... the guys about Penny Farthings and the Australian championships at Evandale, there were some beauties in the exhibition, a bike that had two gears in the chain ring and if you pedalled backwards up a hill it engaged the larger gear, when you got to the top you could resume pedalling forward to switch back to the bigger gear - brilliant, the other system was having two cogs on the rear wheel so when you hit the hill you stopped and pulled the wheel ...
