    Tried to see an ancient Roman arena in this town where we stayed one night. Well, it was a bit difficult as the GPS took us on some wild goose chases around and around the one way, extremely narrow and highly congested streets!!! It was a nightmare for any passenger I'll tell you now!!

    The best thing to do in any of these villages is to park on the edge of town and walk in. The locals drive way ...

    Travelled today to mainly see the Pont du Gard which translates to bridge over the Gard river.

    This bridge was made by the Romans in 1 AD to channel water from Uzes to Nimes for the prime purpose of Roman baths and mostly decadent other uses but not for main prime survival!!! This ,I thought was pretty amazing considering what a feat of architecture and man power it must have been.

    ... to be honest, but it was fine – apart from my heels which have left a nasty blister on the back of my heel, it’s getting better now though.
