... if there were people in them. It got ignored by everybody. The archaeologist who worked on the site was Jewish and he rather crudely [to have done so] put the Star of David atop a column. A statue of Mercury originally at the latrine of the baths at Madaure was on display in the small museum on site. Mercury is also the deity of travelers.
