    ... font-size: 17px; line-height: normal;">I like their overtaking attitude....they just cross the double lines coming towards you as they overtake another car/truck/bus and trust to God that you will move over to avoid a head-on collision...and everyone does just that...smoothly, seamlessly, and with no angst or aggression....

    ... had something for all nationalities; bacon, eggs, pancakes, ham, cheese, fruit, toast and sweet pastries. We really like the Hotel Stendhal Mecure. The room was huge, as was the bathroom and very modern. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated. We got a very good price from booking.com.     ... is one lane for both directions. However it's so quiet you can hear the cars coming and there's time to step off the road. I had wondered what would have happen if I met the evening bus as I passed the section where the stinging nettles line both sides of the road. It's a steep 5 km round trip to the Pieve Antica, a 12th century church. Roffeno is the same distance but a flatter walk along the road. I thought there might be a cute bar for a late afternoon aperitif ...
