    Day 1 We awoke to a gorgeous day in Lugano (my birthday) and unfortunately I woke up with a sore throat and sore ears. We took the train to Milan and that was an eye opener. The train was packed and there were suitcases everywhere so even trying to get to our allocated seats was a mission. The train trip was just over an hour and once we got seated it was pleasant enough. When it came time to get off in Milan it was another nightmare, trying to retrieve our suitcases from under ...
