On the train to Milano, Francesco pointed out a piece of highway the train travels underneath. It is about 100m of elevated highway that bridges the railway tracks but it is not connected to anything. Apparently they started building it and only then realised that the road it is meant to join is about 250m away so they had built it in the wrong spot. ...
