    ... just off the highway. Jacqui had a drive while I haa small nap before deciding to change again and go into Pau which is a nice city and quite large. Strolled around relaxing and taking photo's eating a Chocolat eclair and an expresso. Hit the road at 5.00pm amidst the end of the week rush hr traffic.     Today was to be the tourist day, we all had our usual breakfast courtesy of Jean Jaques and Merete. We then walked about 3 klms to Lourdes to have a look around. Lourdes is very intriguing in the 1850s a young girl was at a local cave and she saw Virgin Mary. She was told to dig for water, she then saw her a further 17 times. So from that the tourist town of Lourdes was built. There are 15,000 people living in Lourdes, at its peak it had 680 hotels the most of any city outside Paris. ...

    ... short tunnels we had been unaware of made things interesting for a while! Turning off the road later we climbed a muddy trail and passed through a heard of cows. We stopped a while later while Hans tried to take some pictures of a vulture with his telelens (which was not too successful).
