On way passed through a dear little village called Sizun which had one of the prettiest churches I have seen and also there was a small museum attached which had some very old household furniture and chattels. ... arrived too early at the Raz. As the conditions were so good we decided to go through with the tide against us so we had to put the motor on to assist us getting through and not going backwards. It was a lovely, fresh morning that awaited us today. It took me a long time to surface, however, and I finally came to at 8.20am! A warm, powerful shower followed by a piping hot cuppa, soon had me back on track ready for our walk into the town.
We reached the Port, where there was a huge market and we couldn't resist buying apricots, flat peaches and tomatoes and later on two tranches of cheese-Conté and Tomme de Brebis. Yum! The only problem was carrying it all back in the ...
