July 31st We woke to no wind at all had a lovely breakfast in the cockpit and when all was cleared away we set sail for Guilvinec, motor on and sails up it was not long before we turned the motor off and settled into a lovely sail all the way. ... Plymouth, they keep their boat in Roscoff marina. Before we left David had to do a gel coat repair on the side of the hull where French boat hit us because of not concentrating in what they were doing.We caught 2 buses which took 2 hours for only 4 euros each there and back, bargain I must say. We called in here mainly to watch the daily catch of fish arrive. It's quite an event and the local council has built a viewing platform for the sole (sorry) purpose. Around 4.30 every afternoon, a couple of hundred people stand on the platform to see the flotilla of fishing boats arrive ...

We had a pretty nice sail to Concarneau not a long passage from Loctudy.

We've decided to exercise our chill days here.

There's not much to the town other than the old town within fortified walls, but it is atmospheric.

We basically wandered around and visited the Museum of fishing which was, believe it or not, very good.
