... if the last house on the block actually collapsed if would certainly cause a domino affect with all the other houses. There is evidence of them trying to brace the buildings and we saw this a lot when we took our canal cruise later that afternoon. The houses are quite lovely but not sure I would like to live in one with everything sloping and the threat you could end up in the canal if it falls down.

... the moment I board the plane I adjust to the country if destination. That's how one avoids a severe jet-lag. So I wanted to stay awake. But why for a chocolate Christ on a pogo stick do the immediately serve a hot meal (we declined) dim the lights and pull the shades? We are not crossing the mediator. It's neither in Thailand nor The Netherlands time to sleep. I just don't get it. May be me again, I like to understand things. Things need logic, but I don't get it. Ah well, movie ...

... everyone speaks English! it is compulsory to learn at school and when they get to high school, kids get the option of learning French or German. I could have spent another couple of days in Amsterdam, but sadly Ireland was calling so we had to move on...

Thanks to Neville and Denise for the hotel recommendation - it was pretty good!

Now for a week driving around Ireland - on the right side of the road! Yay!!

... restaurant (so local it's under our bedroom) which was accompanied by a couple of beers and that started that Greek thing of a couple more and ...
