Stopped at the Greek port of Argostoli. Very small town. Part of the Kelonica Island. What is amazing how a cruise ship this size managers to dock at such a small town, part of a canal so to speak. We taking the next 2 days to rest as we have 2 nights at Bella Italia, then off to Rome, which will be a lot of walking and site seeing with the ...

Rumbling along this stretch of road, it is not unusual to find little old greek ...

We arrived in the port by hire car, which we hired for the last two days to visit further afield than our hire scooter would allow. We found free parking around the ferry boat area and made our way looking for the turtles. We asked a waitress where we could see them and she replied with a swish of her arm, that we could see them anywhere in the harbor. We stared ...

Our hotel 'Nine Muses' is a great unobtrusive complex right on the water front in a quiet area. This was our second visit, having previously stayed 3 or 4 years previously. We looked at other hotels in the area, some very classy looking, however, some were further along the resort, really on the suburbs and not a quick walk to the main street and lovely restaurants, shops etc., So we decided that as we had previously had a wonderful stay we knew what we ...
