Leaving Bariloche for El Chalten
... look close enough to touch as the rains are looming, although somehow closer still. Even the arch of the rainbows here are far slighter and lower than we're used to. The could formations, especially as the sun starts to go down, are dramatic and again, somehow different. Take a look at some of the pics below... we couldn't leave some of these clouds out!

17-hour drive in icy Patagonia
... we leave the cabin at 6.15am. I drive with extreme caution: freezing temperatures can lead to treacherous road conditions. We are so close to the pole that the sun doesn't rise until 9.30am so we get plenty of time to enjoy it slowly.
