... along. The village looks quite large but only has 80, mostly elderly, residents.
Currently we sitting on a deck in the shade drinking Pastis and watching the Pilgrim Trail walkers come into the village we are now. St Chely is another nice little village, 100 or so houses with a river running through it and a couple of great restaurants.

Wow - number 1 village by far. As you will see in some of the photo's the properties and views are stunning. We wandered in and around many of the cobble stone type streets, through small tunnels and passageways. There is a reason they have all non residents park in one spot at the bottom as the narrow 'roads' would be a nightmare for a non-resident to manage. Walking was a balancing act in ...
I had read a good article in the SMH traveller on the Clermont-Ferrand area a few months back on its' great cheese and wine yet it was off the tourist trail. Tick and tick.
