... get our supplies and head back to the hotel. We meet in Liz & Russ's room for drinks and the final download of photos from cameras and gopro. We even managed a bottle of creamy Limonchello. Dinner tonight was in the hotels restaurant. Liz had fish and the rest had veal schnitzel. The meals very large and full of flavour. Most enjoyable meal for our last dinner on the 2015 tour. Back to our room for a final Limonchello night ...

... a Saturday was quite amazing. This continued through the whole city and the roads were not jam packed with cars making the ambience much better.
There are plenty of the usual shopping areas but parks, green spaces and riverside quays abound. We decided to take the boat trip (approx 70 mins) which takes you round the old city, up to the area of the European Parliament and Court of Human Rights (how we love them ...

... driving on the Black Forest High Road (Schwarzwald-Hochstrabe) as there is always a lot of traffic. It seems a very popular area for both cycling and motorbike riding and we can't think of an area where we have seen as many motorbikes. In addition to this there are parking areas for walkers with the overflow of cars parked haphazardly on the road. Combine this with hills, a windy road, lots of cars and walkers and of course the beautiful scenery. Tomorrow we ...

Stopped by at this city because we couldn't find anywhere to stay that was conveniently situated in between Switzerland and Cologne, hence we decided to stay in another country. The accommodation here was pretty bad, there were only bedding for 4, no wifi & the pillows were more like flat pieces of cotton. Anyways, the city ...
