      ... different department of WHO who wanted to see Winnie's pictures from Sierra Leone that she could use for training. The pictures Winnie took are amazing, and so are the stories that accompany them. She was there for 3 months, and she told us all about the reaction of the public, how they trained local medical officials to set up clinics, "green" vs "red" zone procedures, and survivor stories. It was so interesting to see, and I am so grateful ...

      So this starts off with one of my finer moments. I was heading to Geneva. Or Geneve... To get there, my the trip planner said I need to go to Milano then change at Brig. Well, I saw a train going to Genene Brig. So of course I was going to say stuff the trip planner and be a smartass who know best. Why wouldn't I. It turns out, Genene is actually Genoa. Genoa is south. I wanted to go north. Genoa is beach. I wanted mountains. My train arrived in genoa at 1:00. My train left ...

      ... friendliness and hospitality. This is quite the contrast from the receptions we got in Geneva where the people are cold and not quite friendly...The bizarre thing is - these two small cities are only about 15 minutes apart, literally (about 20 kms from each other), yet in friendliness they seem worlds apart.
