    This morning was an early start (6 AM) to catch the TGV train to Geneva. We had to take the metro to Paris Lyon, where we bought lunch for on the train, and then caught it to Switzerland. It was a bit slower than the Eurostar and took around 4:30. Otherwise it all went smoothly though. Once in Geneva, we caught the tram to CERN, the end of the line, and were slowly transferred ...

    ... length of the dock (ok, I'm ad-libbing here but it makes for a better story), and between "Ava Maria's" there was me thinking to myself..

    So this starts off with one of my finer moments. I was heading to Geneva. Or Geneve... To get there, my the trip planner said I need to go to Milano then change at Brig. Well, I saw a train going to Genene Brig. So of course I was going to say stuff the trip planner and be a smartass who know best. Why wouldn't I. It turns out, Genene is actually Genoa.
