Well from the outside of city there is a breathtaking view of the upper town but once you are in it I woudn't say the same. Still there is plenty to see wandering around the streets and lots of lovely churches to explore. But it's definitely not the best medieval town in Italy.
Abby and I left for Bergamo early on Saturday morning (4 am from our house exactly). We took a taxi to the airport. On the train to Milano, Francesco pointed out a piece of highway the train travels underneath. It is about 100m of elevated highway that bridges the railway tracks but it is not connected to anything. Apparently they started building it and only then realised that the road it is meant to join is about 250m away so they had built it in the wrong spot. ...
