So excited for this weekend! We got on the tube Saturday morning 8.45 to Kings Cross St Pancreas. The Station was big and beautiful. We walked through to the EUROSTAR and lined up with a heap of other kiwis in Kathmandu puffer jackets and bags. ... had to board our bus to take us to the famous Moulin Rouge for the 11pm show which included half a bottle of champagne is. Like the last time I saw this amazing show, it was still spectacular and blew me away. Some of the acts were a little different and there were added acts. The show finished at about 1.45am, wayyy past mum's bedtime hehe. We boarded the bus to take us back to our accommodation. Arrived on the train around 10am. Taxi to hotel Check in and head up to our room. Excited for beds!! Today was a day to explore both the old and the new in Paris. We started the day mid-morning with a visit to Saint Chapelle, the chapel that is in the palace of former kings. The building, built 1242-48, now houses the Ministry of Justice. The chapel is noted for its tall narrow stained glass windows depicting Old Testament scenes and providing a supposed path for King Louis IX to claim a place in that succession.
