After all of this wandering around, we stopped at a neighbourhood bar for beers on the way home. After refreshing we went out again to dine at 1900 Montparnasse, an art nouveau period restsurant with beautiful stained glass, and fantastic food.

We all woke pretty early, but as we had all gone to bed pretty early the night before we were all feeling quite refreshed. The apartment we are staying in is superb and is very roomy and is very close to the centre, so Phil went for an early run along the Seine.
