... to our destination. We roamed around Baunhof in Switzerland and saw the KappelBrucke, a very old and historical wood bridge in Lucerne. It was night and dark and our cameras were not able to capture well the beauty of the place. We had our dinner in Burger King as we only had few time left in the place.

After a few hours of free time, we went back to the bus to go to our first hotel.

Leaving the park it was just a short walk back to the Orangerie Museum. I would call this a small boutique museum - displaying select works by Claude Monet and his contemporaries. Monday was Bastille Day which fortunately we found out some history about the day before. Oli and Jesse started school with Kate and Sal and I wandered down to the Seine with about 200,000 other people. ... above it, which themselves were named for a famous French chemist who invented the alcohol thermometer in the 1700s and the famous city in the Crimea which French and English troops captured during the Crimean War in 1855.

This station and line was open so we rode the rest of the way back to the hotel which saved us an hour’s walk more or less.
