        ... road and within in few minutes found my co-riders waiting for me at the bottom.

        And, that was that. Back to the hotel to pack and get ready for dinner.

        Then Friday, I was up very early (5:15am) to catch a 7:15 train to Paris, then a 1pm flight to Florence, followed by a 4pm train to Arezzo where Lisa & Helena picked me up... a bottle of Chianti at the ready!

        I am now happily back in my home-away-from home.

        ... 00. That is almost exactly what happens, except, showers started at 14:00, and turned to steady rain almost immediately after that..

        ... and obviously there would be no point coming to the location of Chocolat without picking up some chocolat as well. Then we went to the only other establishment in town and had a chocolat chaud (café noir pour moi) and we all left town happy. Then we went to our campsite which until late this evening we were the only occupant of. There is a swimming pool next to the site which we have free entry to and since we haven't had a chance for a swim ...
