Then we drove to another spot where there were ruins of Roman buildings from a township they established after they won the battle but it was all a bit rainy so we didn't stay very long.       ... in the best clothes we brought. For me, not too dressy but acceptable. The dinner prepared was Vicki’s best. The staff, always cheerful, were even more cheerful. Not sure if they are happy to see us go or if they really like us. I’m convinced it was the latter. The guests were exchanging emails and photos with suggestions of a French reunion.
