... back into town. Ned had been looking quite poorly, eyes closed and panting, though as we approached the town he had seemed to calm down and his eyes were open, brighter.

Andy stopped in front of the church to Google directions to the cheese shop, while I filled a coke bottle lid with water and tipped it to Ned’s beak and let him drink. He sipped at the water, licking with his little tongue, and started to liven up.

And a bit further north again......seeking climbing. The book says it's rich pickings around here in this small ski resort. It probably is......but we didn't hang aground to find out. It dropped to about 4 deg at night and we woke up in the clouds.......and rain. So we moved on again.
