Last day with the car so we decided to go to the Beach of Clermont which is only about 30 minutes away. Unbelievably we found the village of Aydat and it had a soccer field... You can guess what the next 1.5 hours consisted of. We then did the Tour De Lac which was about 1.5 hours or 5.5km. Much of the walk was away from the water but still fine. We got ...

... Ned, they weren’t so for Andy, who realized the cheese shop was out of town a way and only open to public after 6pm. Bugger.

Andy asked what I planned now to do with Ned. There was not a soul in sight. I suggested as we were heading back the same way, I’d let him outside where we picked him up and see if he was ok after his rest.

As we made our way out of Clermont we noticed some dark ominous clouds in the direction we were going. We were driving on winding roads as we traversed the countryside and eventually saw some pretty big mountains. We were entering ski country. And a bit further north again......seeking climbing. The book says it's rich pickings around here in this small ski resort. It probably is......but we didn't hang aground to find out. It dropped to about 4 deg at night and we woke up in the clouds.......and rain. So we moved on again.
