    Ok, so, if you read my last blog you will know that I've had some teething problems with the electrics. Well, as alway things get better before they get worse! Yesterday morning the bed for stuck and the middle section was sagging. So, after dropping mum off at Groningen airport and some very emotional goodbyes I headed back to the same site to try and fix the issue.     ... introduced us to a drink called dark & stormy, (rum & ginger beer)
    and later that night, well 3am, it certainly was, dark & stormy I mean. We had the loudest
    thunderstorm I've ever heard, with forked lightening & torrential rain. The earth moved! We stayed dry. Our modifications have worked!

    ... part, and I joined them on their last day for a 10k walk. Very 'gezellig' and great to spend some time with Dutch kids. Regina is the daughter of John's cousin Erwin, and his wife Mirjam, who we stayed with.
