... Then we went to rugby training and I had a good run around. Then it was back home for more beers and card games. Aside from spending a night sharing a couch with a Irish wolf hound, nothing really funny happened here. But I thought it was worth mentioning because it really showed me the kindness that still exists in the world if you are open to it! The next day, I didn't steal any of his stuff, and he didn't kill me and I left to go to Berlin! Safe and ...
... The TomTom was taking us on an interesting, back country route and with a little green verge on the roadside Jase stopped to check it out. I had my suspicions that it was the exhaust again, as it sounded like the brackets had shaken lose, as the sound was coming from right underneath us and as Jase reappeared at the side of the camper, he was not looking impressed.

Much more civilised train journey, got on and went upstairs on the train, it was a quiet coach. Still no obvious place to put luggage but ok as I had 4 seats to myself ... Huh second stop is Amsterdam Arena, it looks a bit like a landed alien spaceship. Ooh random windmills in the distance, attempting to zoom and take a picture of the next one. Doh just missed photo moment of closest windmill. At Utrecht station asked for directions to bus to Jankerkshof, got ...
Opa came to pick us up at 07:30. The
train journey to Schiphol was uneventful, the train arrived exactly
on time so no cause for stress there. My worries from the last blog
about checking in with Qatar Airways proved to be unfounded. Our
baggage was checked in at Schiphol and labelled to our end
destination: Denpasar. That's the last time we saw it for 29 hours
(and, yes, it all arrived in one piece at our destination).
