... It was a very short homily and we were able to follow along with the rest of mass, although were very surprised when the priest pulled out a guitar to lead the Our Father- it was beautiful. We shared "peace" with the Germans around us and received Holy Communion. Then, their was a Eucharistic procession that all participated in-- bands, flags, tents-- the whole shebang. Our waitress told us that it is because of tomorrow's feast day of the Nativity of our ...

It is the busy summer season so there were quite a few seats already sold out. In the middle of the night the storm hit, and what a storm! Hail pelted the windows and the wind roared around the castle. We felt very safe with 3 foot wide stone walls. We feel the house move and windows rattle at home with winds like this but this place was rock ...

... spot of lunch and managed to get onto the train with only a little trouble with the validation of the ticket. This was a local train so nothing fancy. We arrived at Trento having travelled through the towns we had just been in with the Taylor's a few days ago. We didn't realise that their touristing would takeouts so close to the next destination on our list. Our Castel Pergine is awesome. The castle is home to an art exhibition and ...
