... hostel. The driver asked me where I was from and as soon as I said New Zealand he said I was too late for Oktoberfest - how is that for a reputation? As it turns out I am glad I went as Augsburg is a nice place. Very historic (about 2000 years old) and has some very nice buildings, city walls, squares, etc to wander around. I spent Sunday doing that, stayed there Sunday night then on Monday morning got the train to Munich.
