No air-con. Too near the main road, hence, very noisy at night or in the morning, even though location is quite convenient.

We've been searching for a supermarket to get a few things. No luck yet, but we managed to spend 24€ on soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving cream.

After a long, hot walk back, we're showered and ready for a ...

... him as I'm not German but neither did anyone else. The funeral ended and the bell sounded and we followed the coffin to the grave. They placed the coffin into the ground and we stood around listening to speeches by Vicky, Christian and a friend and daddy cried and so did I. There is something very haunting about a man crying, especially your father. We then all took it in turns to scatter soil and place petals onto the grave and then hug every family ...

As we entered the festival we were very impressed! There was a lot of 'This is awesome' sort of comments. Prior to going we (Belinda more so than Ben) had this impression that it was a lot of beer and a bit of a carnival. It was nothing like this at all. The park was dominated by food stalls and carnival rides - good quality ones too, none ...
