Final full day in Alicante region. A nice relaxed start to the day with a visit to Benidoleig municipal swimming pool, which was modern and had a sort of garden area with trees for shade. Nice slow start to the day. Freshly squeezed orange juice made from local oranges with fresh mango and pineapple, with croissant, jam and coffee. Heaven! Shortly after we headed to a local bodega to taste some wine. Then had a coffee in the pretty vine covered garden of a local restaurant. I do like Spanish coffee. Back to Casa Cronk to pack a picnic then off to their 'private' beach ...

Arrived Alicante airport more or less on time after a 45' delay leaving Gatwick and Ian Cronk was there to greet us and take us to Casa Cronk in Benidoleig. Unbelievably hot weather so we had a welcome ice cold Buck's Fizz (with home made fresh squeezed orange juice) and snacks whilst admiring Sue and Ian's lovely Spanish home. Then off ...
