    Great location, good breakfast and new facility. The only bad thing were the smell of the romm (like sewage).

    We walked to the deportation center iof the Jews for 1942 and 1943. It used to be a theatre with a first and second balcony. As children were born, they had to include religion on birth certificate. 80% of the Jewish community disappeared. The deportation center is the oldest holocaust memorial in Europe.     ... were very nice and were served with Chips and Mayo. We then wandered into De Nieuwe Kerk (the new church) thinking we would look at a beautiful church. Yes the church was impressive in its appearance but we were not prepared for the World Press Photo exhibition there.     ... sun set and rise over the Atlantic Ocean in about three hours, and paid for an overpriced smoothie.

    Check in went smoothly. We only needed to shuffle a few books between two bags to even them out so our three checked bags each weighed exactly the maximum of 50 pounds - a great relief because our scale at home broke right before we could weigh in and those bags were heavy! (Books and supplies, not female overpacking.)
