Great location, good breakfast and new facility. The only bad thing were the smell of the romm (like sewage).

... It was about a thirty minute walk home, and we enjoyed every minute. The weather was only slightly chilly; just a light sweater. Couldn't ask for more.

Tomorrow we will visit a museum that Paul has discovered, do some more exploring and then make our way to the riverboat in the afternoon. Can't wait.

I hope you are all well.

          1. The cold isn't as unbearable as we thought (but it still goes through most

          2. McDonalds charge you to use their toilets, through a small money plate at the entrance to the toilet. And don't think you can be sneaky and try not to leave money due to not having enough small ...

I went to 3 museums today - 2 that were top on my list, so great day. First, I started in the Anne Frank museum. By the way, get tickets online prior to the day - I walked right in; whereas, the people in line were outside for hours in the weather. I supplemented this tour with a 30 minute overview of Anne and her father's story prior to seeing the exhibits. Very good background, my only detailed understanding of her life was in watching the movie ...

... br> I did notice a trend in clothes. Tight pants (including tight jeans), leather jackets and scarves, everywhere. Here tennis shoes were fine to wear.

Kyle: One thing I noticed this time in particular is how dirty Amsterdam was. The other times we've been there were much cleaner. There were heaps of trash on every sidewalk we walked down, sometimes more than one. My thought to myself was, "Hmm, it must be trash day." On the second day, they were ...
