leave Canada on airplane at 7:30 A.M to go to Cayo Coco by 1:10 P.M price- $743.85 a 3,455 km flight and about 7 hours of nonstop flight. I land at the Cayo Coco airport and claim my luggage and walk to a local boating service that will give me a boat ride to Caibarien for $420. Feia massa vent i l'aigua no era prou clara per fer snorkeling però varem disfrutar fent castells i escultures de sorra a la platja. De camí de tornada a l'hotel, ens vam aturar per veure ...

... set to my brother, the snorkeling newbie :-). I had already read that the gear available in Cuba was not the best. This was an understatement. It was horrible. I had never snorkeled with such a cheap snorkel, which basically was a simple plastic pipe that filled itself with water whenever a wave came by (which happened quite often). Besides me fighting with the equipment, the snorkeling was really nice. We saw lots of big fish, among them one huge colorful parrot fish which ...
