          ... city area (downtown) but through the suburbs and where there had been a concerted effort to create business away from the city centre to ease congestion, eg, Cyber City etc … we found out that’s where Mario’s wife worked.

          After driving at speed for about 30 mins or so, we arrived at our first stop … several taxis were there and so were about 3 Princess buses … drat …

The majority of the tourists were from uk and then France who appeared to have come for Christmas whereas the Outrigger hotel we went to on Saturday was full the week after Christmas with people who were coming south for some sun after Christmas at home.           ... it would be. It was probably the most beautiful island I have ever seen and although I didn't get a lot of surfing in I did get some great waves. I only got two waves at Tamarin, but they were both really amazing and I consider myself lucky to say I got to surf the place. It is a very fickle wave that doesn't break that often, and even when it does the locals make it hard to get waves.
          I am in the airport now and am leaving for Madagascar. ...
