    ... bought hot water in teapots and we sat and enjoyed tasting the various teas.
    We could have sat and drank tea and admired the beautiful views all afternoon but we still had a rum distillery, anthurium plants to see and lunch at the plantation house to look forward too and something we weren't expecting a visit to a crocodile and giant tortoise park ! but that can follow tomorrow, so pour yourself a cuppa and enjoy sharing in the tea part of our tea & tipple day.

    ... humidity. Everything went
    smoothly with our airport arrival. The car was there on time to transfer us
    across the island to the town of Pereybere which is in the north east. The
    roads were surprisingly very modern and it took only an hour to get to our
    hotel. We arrived at 9pm local time and they decided to upgrade us to a massive
    top floor self-contained apartment.

    ... 8217;s much appreciated. By mid-afternoon, I was yawning in spite of myself: the spirit was willing, but the flesh was quite tired. We shook hands all around and said goodbye, and I drove back north to Quatre Bornes, slapping myself once in a while to stay alert.
