Yesterday we took a field trip to the French Alps. It was by far the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and I had one of the best days of my life there! I never truly understood why everyone was so in awe over the mountains (all of them, not just the Alps) until I got to see the sunrise come up over the tips while climbing up the side of the mountain range. It was so breath taking ...
... because the hill was sortof steep and had a curve at the bottom, but a nice French lady helped get my ski poles back to me and I was off again without further complications. Nor are we ready to take on the fearless gun t hree year olds (Milo squad equivalents) but merely embarrass ourselves in front of them. Liz disembarking from the chairlift and sliding downhill screaming on her backside, a classy example.
Admittedly when ...
