... the bad guys happened to be back there, after an absence of some time, trying to get the two dogs to have a pre getting locked in the car for the night, ****.

Well the game was up for this lot. Apparently during the period of time from my initial confrontation, to the owner confronting them, they had been in a park cabin hired by a couple of their mates where they intended to spend a free night. Now I don’t have a real problem with that per say. What I do have ...

After leaving the Piedmont region of Italy, and before heading back to Geneva for the airport, we made a quick two-day stop in the beautiful French alpine town of Chamonix. Arriving here on Thursday in the driving rain, we kept hoping for a break in the weather so that we could see the fabulous alps, including the Mt. Blanc, the highest peak in Europe.

We all crammed into ...

      Today is the
second last day of my holiday so I felt I should do a heavy hike as it is to be
my last one. I’m now in a hotel in Megeve, a fairly upmarket village
particularly in the ski season about 30 kms from Chamonix. It is also only an
hour’s drive from Geneva which makes the return of my rental car on Sunday
prior to joining my flight home that much easier.

      As all the
      local ...

... actually just a forest worker (with awesome leather hat!). He was very friendly but made it clear I needed to move on. Time to head to Munich I guess...

Munich was all about Oktoberfest and Oktoberfest was all about having a couple of quiet beers and eating some nutritious salad based meals.

We took it easy on the first day and only had a few steins (I think?) before hitting the rides for some adrenaline to sober up. The highlight of ...
