    Tonight Martha's daughter, Stephanie, flew in to join us on our trip. So Martha had to forego the cruise to pick her up from the airport. Also one of our members, Cristina, has developed a chest cold and has not been feeling well. So she also missed the river cruise.

    ... basements. The buildings we visited were now used as exhibition space. The tour was good, but were expecting a bit more from it. Dinner that night was at Malostranska Beseda, another of Magdalena's recommendations. The food was tasty and cheap but the restaurant was surprisingly empty.     ... in Paris. Michelin, for all its good work, seems to encourage this unfortunately. One thing very worth mention is the incredible wine pairing. Each course was paired with a czech wine from small family producers. The wines by themselves were correct, but not special. However, that pairings were exquisite bringing the wines and food up several notches. Huge kudos to their sommelier who really understands pairings - this was one of the best i have had ...
