          ... to the beach in Eze the town. The manager at the hostel recommended a walking path that leads from Eze Village down into Eze to the beach, apparently it is not very well known but it is a really nice walk with beautiful views. The hostel manager was not wrong as the views from the walk down to the town were just as nice as what they were from Eze Village, plus there was hardly anybody else walking along the track.           After another drive day we arrived in summery Nice. We went out for dinner and later to a bar, which is famous for its encouraged dancing on tables. There was definitely a lot of dancing on tables. We walked through the shopping strip on the way to the beach. The beach was very European, and had pebbles instead of sand.           ... on in order to stay upright 'cause the bus was crowded, experience!

          At every turn I made certain to visit the 'old town' - chocked full of castles, old cathedrals, waterfront fortresses and wharves sometimes only a few hundred feet, up or down or along, beside the more modern's all a feast for the eyes (excuse the cliche, but seems to express our marveling at new sites every moment)

          ... We headed down towards the hub passing 3 burley machine gun wielding security guards, not very friendly either so I found out but I guess it's not their job to be friendly. I believe France is on high alert at the moment and having a festival on has increased security around the place.
