... even and can now say we have played in Monte Carlo. Some people spent €100 just on a few drinks so we were quite happy to walk away :) France is amazing and the French Riviera is just stunning and another place I would love to come back to in the summer. This is our last night in Nice and tomorrow we are on our way to Lyon for a short stop over before Paris :) Much love to you ...

Palm trees doted the shoreline and in front of us the picture perfect, bright blue Mediterranean lived up to all of ...

... Well we are in Nice, it is cloudy, windy, decidedly chilly and spitting rain. In other words fairly typical for this trip. We've just had some tucker; Relle's knocked over some froggies (legs anyway) and I've cleaned up the garden by having some escargots! Relle has a deep seated look of satisfaction on her face when she takes back a bit of revenge for all the horrid times she has endured with frogs and ...

... where we were - as we could compare our location to the promenade des anglais - which runs along the front of most of Nice. And we were on the same block as Casino Ruhl. Our hotel was about 20 seconds walk away from the beach. So it was so easy to

We walked around for the majority of the afternoon. Of course our first port of call was gelato!! So enjoyable!! We also hit the promenade to walk along it to admire the scenery of the French
