... and we backtracked and then climbed up real high above the footpath and headed straight for the ridge that we needed to hook over to reach the valley that took us back to the Cascades.

... one side of me is water so shallow i keep grounding my paddle – and the other side has the mega-current. Ewventually i make my way to the relative safety of another eddy and await Bryony’s second attempt.

Unfortunately, it’s the same result and Bryony ends up under water again. More coaching and encouragement from both guides and the third attempt sees her out into the current and we are away. A few ...

After another delicious breakfast of various breads and yogurt, we meet our new friends Brit Phil and Jenny at a corner in the Rue Sidi and wander down to the designated meeting point to wait for Darryn. At the appointed time he drives straight past but eventually comes back and finds us and we also meet our fellow travellers, Gerrard and Emmanuelle. Shame they speak very little English.

... YUM!!!) I have never had a tastier fig. It was freakin AWESOME!! And there was kitten there. It was soooo sweet. I pulled it up onto my lap and it curled up and purrrrrred. I was in heaven. Hot weather, beautiful waterfall, kitten on my lap, morrocan tea, and eating figs from the tea.

... by the "pharmacist" as to what sort of spices and remedies we could buy there. Luckily it only lasted about 10 minutes and we were able to get out unscathed.

The tour ended there and we were dropped off at our hotel. The rest of the night consisted of swimming in the hotel pool, going out for dinner, and then back to the hotel for a couple drinks. Day 3 in Morocco was a huge success! Let's hope Day 4 can measure up...
