So, the rain came, but we were dry! We set out this morning to find a small museum on the history of life in Cevennes National Park. En route we passed a dairy where Le plat du jour was a tasting plate of 7 cheeses all made on site. They had to be eaten in a certain order - softest to hardest. ... without back-hauling as much as the original plan and also avoiding as much riding on national roads as possible, so once we reached Brenoux, that's what we did. It worked perfectly and we cut about 5 km off the route as well as reaching an additional col, Col de Montmirat. We stopped for photos.

... when we finally got there and stopped for photo, we didn't stay long.

It was still overcast with mist at the top, so the descent into Villefort was a bit cool. Linda's hands started turning white so when we got to town we quickly pulled into the first bakery and coffee shop we saw for a snack and hot drinks. Soon enough, the rest of the gang rolled in and joined us.
