I figured out pretty soon that the two girls we were with weren't very good, so I decided to split up.       ... some were going down the glacier (and ending up at the Mer de Glace where we visited yesterday) and others were going down the mountain "off piste". They were launching themselves out a special tunnel and then had to navigate carefully along a ridge to start their journey.

      I am so lucky! I got to spend 2 nights in my friend's apartment in the mountain. It is small but it already had quite a lot of food in it and the manual said that you can eat what you find so that was good! I did go shopping for some veggies J See the view?       Mum has come by for a 2 week trip. In the first 5 days we have visited Morge, Grand Dixence and eaten out a few times in the vineyards enjoying the early summer weather!
